Ruby R. Montoya, 81, was called home to be with the Lord our Savior, April 3, 2003. She was a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, a member of the Catholic Daughters and American Legion. Ruby was an avid gardener and was especially fond of bowling, which she did for over 25 years. She was preceded in death by her beloved son Albert E. Montoya. Ruby is survived by her daughter Marce J. Chavez and Husband Dennis; the lights of her life her grandchildren, Denise, Eric and Monique; one sister Anne Muniz and many nieces, nephews and friends. We would especially like to thank Theresa LaJuenesse and all her staff at Sangre de Cristo for their wonderful care and help. Ruby will be remembered on Monday, April 7, 2003 with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 1860 Griegos Rd. NW, and a Mass on Tuesday, April 8, 2003 at 10:00 a.m..
