Elizabeth A. Houghton, age 78, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away April 6, 2003. Survivors include her husband, Paul Houghton of the family home; daughter, Kay Houghton and husband, Peter Anders of Los Alamos, NM; sons, Paul W. Houghton and wife, Enong of Woodside, CA, Woods E. Houghton and wife, Cindy of Carlsbad, NM; sisters, Virginia Willard and husband, David of Tucson, AZ; grandchildren, Jannetta Houghton, Joshua Houghton, Jeremiah Houghton, Dustin Houghton, Forrest Houghton and Serena Houghton. Elizabeth lived in Albuquerque since 1924 where Girard was the end of town at that time and as a child used to catch wild horses near the mountains. Elizabeth was a Methodist and was a past Honored Queen of Job's Daughter. She enjoyed restoring antique furniture and doing genealogy. Viewing and visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m., with the family being present from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 9, 2003 at Fitzgerald & Son Funeral Directors. Services will be held 1:30 p.m., Thursday, April 10, 2003 in the Chapel of Fitzgerald & Son Funeral Directors with Dr. Rev. Colin P. Kelly III officiating.
