Reda Bell Richards, 66, a resident of Bosque, NM, passed away on Wednesday, April 9, 2003. She was a member The First Baptist Church. She considered cleaning house to be her hobby; however she also loved to be outdoors, and taking care of her grandchildren. She was her husband, Jim's, birthday present being that they got married on his birthday. They loved celebrating their anniversary and Jim's birthday together. Reda will be greatly missed by her family and her spirit will be in their hearts everyday. Reda is preceded in death by her parents, Greek and Annie Idella Shupe; two of her brothers, Bill and Bobby Shupe; one infant brother; and one infant sister. She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Jim of the family home; her daughter, Robin Smalley and her husband, Mark; her son, Calvin Richards; her grandchildren, Ben Hart, Thomas Hart and his wife, Stacey, and Justin and Brenna Richards; Reda's brothers, Ben Shupe, and his wife, Mary Lou; and Bud Shupe; her sisters, Della Shupe Dietz and her husband, Bill, and Evelyn Davis and her husband, Martin. Reda is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, April 14, 2003 at the Romero Funeral Home Chapel, 609 N. Main St., Belen, NM at 10:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Reda's name to the Heart Hospital of New Mexico, 504 Elm St. NE Albuquerque, NM 87102.
