Obituary for Lambe

Kathleen Lambe, 73, a resident of Albuquerque since 1971, died Thursday, April 10, 2003. She was the loving wife of James B. Lambe; dedicated mother of daughters, Patricia Marie Christophersen and husband, Paul of Albuquerque and Theresa Marie Liberti and husband, Mike of Gilbert, AZ; son, Kevin F. Lambe and wife, Sandy of Phoenix, AZ; daughter, Diana Marie Ruiz and husband, Ben of Sparta, NJ. She is also survived by her sisters, Eileen Soden, Dr. Elizabeth Monaghan, Phyllis Mulligan, all of Ireland, Bridget Masem of Albuquerque and Maureen Kane of Long Island, NY; brothers, Scamus Monaghan of Spain, and Brian Monaghan of Albuquerque. She was a loving grandmother to 12 grandchildren, Andrew, Anna, David, Kathryn, Christopher, Michelle, Daniel, Brenda, Steven, Nicole, Christian, and Matthew; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, James Jr. and brothers, Pete and Francis Monaghan. Mrs. Lambe was born in Co. Cavan, Ireland. She came to the U.S. in 1949 and in 1951, she married James Lambe. They moved to New Mexico from New Jersey in 1971, establishing Rainbow Way Ltd. in 1974, manufacturing southwestern art. Cremation will take place and a celebration of her life will be held Sunday, April 13, 2003, 4:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel.
