Obituary for Sullivan

Published in the Albuquerque Journal on Tuesday April 15, 2003

Elizabeth Turner Sullivan, a resident of Las Cruces, NM died Sunday, April 14, 2003 in Albuquerque. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.W."Bill" Sullivan. She will be missed by her brother, Jack and wife, Ruby; several nieces and nephews; and loving friends, Don and Henrietta Hays. Her neighbors, Bob and Nina Lytle, Sylvia and Ro Garcia and their daughters, Lynsey, Linda, and Romie, and Kathy Sandlin have been valued, loved, and loving friends. Elizabeth was cared for by the special staff at Memorial Hospital in Las Cruces and at Vincor Hospital in Albuquerque. Her doctor, Dr. Michael Donnellan, made her smile brighter and her eyes twinkle as he cared for her. The special staff at the Albuquerque Care Center cared for her the last two years. She was tough on them and for them, but she loved them. She commented that sometimes a smile made people forgive the other things she did that were not so pleasant. We hope the ACC staff members know how much we appreciated their tender, funny, gentle care. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, Wednesday, April 16, 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Graveside service will be held Thursday, April 17, 2003, 11:30 a.m., at Hillsboro Community Cemetery in Hillsboro, NM.
