Obituary for Romero

Edward B. Romero"Eddie", age 86, beloved father and grandfather, was called home to be with the Lord, Sunday, April 13, 2003. Mr. Romero, a lifelong resident of Old Town, was born March 23, 1917, was a parishioner of St. Therese Little Flower Catholic Church and served in the US. Navy Reserves. Eddie was in the lathe business, and was a member of the Carpenters Union #1319, having retired in 1976. He was preceded in death by his wife Josephine A. Romero and is survived by his children, Lorenzo Romero and wife, Maria Esther, Elaine Chavez and husband, Julian, Joseph Romero and wife, Carol, and Elizabeth Lucero and husband, Tony; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Freddie Romero, and one sister, Mary Jane Romero. He will be greatly missed by his loving family. Memorial services will be held at St. Therese Little Flower Catholic Church, 4th and Mildred NW. A Memorial Rosary will be recited at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 15, 2003. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 16, 2003, with burial following at Mt.
