Jennie Lopez Hill was born October 28, 1904 in Socorro, NM. She was one of seven brothers and seven sisters born to Martin Lopez Sr. and Isabel Lopez. Mrs. Hill passed away in El Paso, TX on April 12, 2003. John Hill, her husband of 66 years, preceded her in death January 11, 2001. She is survived by a daughter, Mary Elizabeth Hines and husband, Jim of Albuquerque; son, Martin Hill of West Monroe, LA; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren; brother, Florentino, Lopez and wife, Beatrice of Bosque, NM; brother-in-law, Tom Hill and wife, Mary of Albuquerque. Jennie was a lifelong citizen of New Mexico and a member of the Catholic Church. She taught school for a number of years in Magdalena, NM. Burial will take place in El Paso, TX at the National Cemetery.
