Melvin C. Taylor passed away on April 14, 2003. He is survived by his wife, Horizonta Guico-Taylor; sisters, Queen E. King of Diboll, TX, Deora Odoms and her husband, James T. Odoms, Ruthie Owens all of Albuquerque, NM, Dorothy Rish of Los Angeles, CA. He has two children, Vanessa Cauley of Diboll, TX and Melvin C. Taylor Jr., (Mike T.) of Los Angeles, CA; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. Service will be held on Friday, April 18, 2003 at 10:30 a.m. at French Mortuary - Westside Chapel with Rev. John D. Hill, officiating. ¯Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. Friends may visit French Mortuary on Friday one-hour prior to service. French Mortuary 9300 Golf Course Rd.
