Obituary for Vigil

Bennie Vigil, born December 25, 1921, passed away Saturday, April 19, 2003. He is survived by his wife, Ricardita (Rita) Jinzo Vigil, whom he married on October 8, 1962; five sons; four daughters; three brothers; and one sister. He is also survived by two sisters-in-law; two brothers-in-law; and nephews and nieces. Bennie was a veteran of the U.S. Army and received a Purple Heart. He was a member of the American Legion Post 69, as well as the Disabled American Veterans. Rosary will be recited Thursday, April 24, 2003, at 7:00 p.m., at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 4th Street & Alameda NW. Prayer Services will be held Friday, April 25, 2003, at 9:00 a.m., also at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Interment will follow at 11:00 a.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Daniel Perea, Jr., Billy Sanchez, Lorenzo Perea, Daniel Perea III, Pete Montoya, Richard Jinzo, Donald Jinzo and Ricardo Garcia. Friends may visit French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, Thursday, April 24, 2003, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. French Mortuary 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE 823-9400
