Sol Churgin, age 91, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away April 19, 2003. Survivors include his daughters, Tina Lewis and Lee Churgin both of Albuquerque. Sol was born in Russia and moved to the United States in 1917 to Omaha, Nebraska and later moving to the Albuquerque area in March 2000. He loved baseball, playing cards at the Senior Center and working in his garden. Graveside Services will be held 1:00 p.m., Thursday, April 24, 2003 at Fairview Memorial Park 700 Yale Blvd. SE with Rabbi Black officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made to the charity of your choice in Sol's memory. Arrangements are under the direction of: Strong-Thorne Mortuary 1100 Coal Ave. SE 842-8800
