John D. Maes of Albuquerque passed away April 22, 2003 at his home in Goodyear, AZ with his family by his side. He is survived by his wife, Susan E. Maes; mother, Stella Gutierrez of Albuquerque; daughter, Michelle L. LeCesne of Lancaster, TX; and his sons, John D. Maes and Kevin J. Maes both of Albuquerque. John is also survived by his sister, Rosemary Batts of Bellevue, NE; and two brothers, Basil Gutierrez of Albuquerque and Louis Gutierrez of Bellevue, NE. A Private Service will be held at the Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe, NM on May 1, 2003.
