Obituary for Espinoza

Molly Elizabeth Espinoza, 17, a resident of Albuquerque since 1987, died suddenly, Thursday, April 24, 2003. She is survived by her father, Brent F. Espinoza of Los Alamos; her mother, Barbara Snow Ghahate and husband, Jon; sister, Jennifer Espinoza; brother, Ian Ghahate; sister, Jonnie Lee Ghahate, all of Albuquerque; paternal grandparents, Benjamin and Fidella Espinoza of Albuquerque; maternal grandfather, Dr. Lawrence Snow and wife, Susan of Cheraw, SC; maternal grandmother, Patricia and husband, Dr. Joseph Workman of Durham, NC; great-grandmother, Helen Wilsey of Pinehurst, NC; aunts and uncles, Cathy and Fred, Bennette and Jon, Carla, and Larry; cousins, Cara, Mike and Brittany; special friends, Jill Schaefer and Joyce Elliott; her special dog, Dixie; and many special friends and teachers from Manzano High School, from Los Alamos and from Colorado Springs, CO. Molly gave her whole heart to everything she did. She was a very loving person to her friends and family, and everyone she met. Molly was a brilliant and beautiful student, involved in National Honor Society, the S.R.C. Committee, MESA, Key Club and playing Varsity Tennis. She had a special spot in her heart for children and animals. Molly planned to attend Duke University in the fall. Mass will be celebrated Monday, April 28, 2003, at 5:30 p.m., to be followed by eulogies, at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 11401 Indian School Rd. NE. Friends may visit French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, Sunday, April 27, 2003, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Humane Association, 615 Virginia SE, 87108 or to the National Federation of the Blind of NM, 1331Park Avenue SW, #1504, 87102.
