Edna Maria Victoria Chavez-Lemons, 82, a resident of Belen, NM, passed away on Friday, April 25, 2003. Edna was cared for with loving attention by Dora Fuchs Porras and Elmer Jose Fuchs, which are in-laws of her grandson, Sean Paul Lemons. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Lemons in 2002; her son, Edwin Daniel Lemons in 1994; her daughter, Kathleen Lemons in 1970; and her great-granddaughter, Crystal Lee Joyner in 1998. She is survived by her two brothers, Raymond Chavez of Arizona and Alfoneso Chavez of New Mexico; her two sisters, Natalie Willis and Felicia Baxter both of California; her daughter, Edna Mary Lemons-Henson and husband, Fred of Rio Rancho, NM; her grandchildren, Roy Charles Lemons and companion, Barbara Boeske of Belen; Cynthia Lee Lemons of Florida; Sean Paul Lemons and wife, Margarita of Belen; and Amey Mary Reinicke and husband, William III of Albuquerque, NM; her great-grandchildren, Sabrina Archuleta, Alisha Mary Joyner, Tracy Renee Joyner, Christina Margarita Lemons, Christian Alexander Lemons, Tiffany Rochelle Lemons, William Horton Reinicke IV, and Chadwick Aaron Reinicke; and her great, great grandchildren, Anthony and Elishia Archuleta. Cremation has taken place. Both Edna and Roy's cremains will be laid to rest together at a later date at the Grand Canyon National Park, where they first met and fell in love many years ago. A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 28, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. at the Romero Funeral Home Chapel. Romero Funeral Home, 609 N. Main St., Belen, NM
