Vidal"Lala" Villescas, a lifelong resident of New Mexico, died May 1, 2003. Survivors include son, Ernie O. Villescas and wife, Jan of Albuquerque; sister, Albita Jaramillo of Albuquerque, Rosita Montoya of Socorro, NM; brother, Adiel Baca of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Kim Villescas of CA and Cindy Villescas of WA. Vidal was preceded in death by her husband, Basilio in 1988; as well as six brothers and sisters. She was a member of San Felipe De Neri Catholic Church and was a member of the Society of the Sacred Heart, Christian Mothers and volunteered at the North 4th Senior Center. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m., Friday, May 2, 2003 in the Palm Chapel of Strong-Thorne Mortuary. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 12:00 p.m., Saturday, May 3, 2003 at San Felipe De Neri Catholic Church 2005 N. Plaza NW with Msgr. Leo Lucero, Celebrant.
