Billie L. Shelton, 81, passed away in Albuquerque on Tuesday, April 29, 2003. She was born, one of twins, in Burkburnett, TX on January 23, 1922. Ms. Shelton came to Albuquerque in 1954, but has been a resident of Rio Rancho since 1992. She was much loved by all who knew her. She is survived by her twin sister, Freddie Henson of Pineville, MO; daughter, Gretchen Lemons and husband, Randel of Tijeras, NM; son, Dan Shelton and wife, Connie of Angel Fire, NM; son, Steve Shelton of Albuquerque; grandchildren, James Osusky and wife, Becky, Jeff Osusky and wife, Phyllis, Julie Snyder and husband, Kenny, Keegan Shelton and wife, Melanie, Kelby, Kristopher, and Stephanie Shelton; great-grandchildren, Sara, Tamara, and Jeremy Osusky and Kenny and Kara Snyder. In celebration of Billie's life, a gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, May 8, 2003, from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at the home of Gretchen and Randel Lemons, #10 Chipmunk Lane in Tijeras.
