Obituary for Sandoval

Filemon O. Sandoval, 78, born in Costilla, NM on July 6, 1924, and passed away on Sunday, May 4, 2003. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Sandoval is survived by wife of 56 years, Marjorie; children, Arthur Sandoval, Robert Sandoval and wife, Cindy, Carmen Kavelman and husband, Kim, Donna Collis and husband Randy; grandchildren, Mary Smith, Michael Sandoval, Matthew Sandoval, Bette Sandoval, David Kavelman, Zachary Kavelman, Daniel Kavelman; sisters, Edith Santistevan, Mary Sandoval and Lydia Jaramillo; and many nieces and nephews. Rosary will be recited Thursday, May 8, 2003, at 9:00 a.m., at Risen Savior Catholic Community, 7701 Wyoming Blvd. NE. Following the rosary, Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m., also at Risen Savior Catholic Community. Interment will take place Friday, May 9, 2003, at 10:30 a.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
