Lorraine A. Mahon, 82, a resident of Albuquerque since 1977, died Saturday, May 3, 2003. She is survived by her daughters, Jane Mahon and Peggy Mahon, both of Albuquerque; sons, Eugene Mahon of Nantucket, MA and Peter Mahon of Waldorf, MD; grandsons, Luke Markwith of Las Cruces, and Jackson Markwith and Cody Garringer, both of Albuquerque. Mrs. Mahon was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Mahon. Mass will be celebrated Friday, 10:30 a.m., at Sangre De Cristo Catholic Church, 8901 Candelaria Rd. NE, with Father Albert J. Podvin, Celebrant. Interment of cremains will take place at Long Island National Cemetery in Farmingdale, New York. Pallbearers will be Eugene Mahon, Peter Mahon, Luke Markwith, Jackson Markwith, Cody Garringer and Kevin MacHale. Friends may visit French Mortuary, University Chapel, Thursday, 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimers Association, 8100 Mountain Rd.
