Judy L. Maestas, 55, a resident of San Fidel, New Mexico, passed away on Monday, May 5, 2003. She was a member o the St. Theresa's Catholic Church in Grants, NM. She was a longtime San Fidel business owner where she operated Ray's Bar along with her mother, Rose B. Maestas for many years. Judy was well known for always caring about others and she was always ready to help anyone in need. She is preceded in death by her father, Reynaldo in 1996. Judy is survived by her two loving children, Kristie Flores and her husband, Bobby; and D. J. Laskowski and his fiancee, Jennifer Reyes, all of Albuquerque, NM; one grandson, Spencer Flores; and one soon to be born; her mother, Rose B. Maestas of San Fidel; two brothers, Ray Maestas, Jr. and his wife, Celia of Grants, NM; and Ronnie Maestas and his wife, Lillian of Albuquerque and San Fidel. Judy is also survived by her many loving uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews. All of Judy's services will be at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church with a rosary being held on Thursday, May 8, 2003 at 9:00 a.m. and a Funeral Mass being celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Belen Catholic Cemetery.
