Gwendolyn"Gwen" Paulson, age 71, passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2003. She was born November 23, 1931, in Heartwell, Nebraska. Gwen moved to Los Alamos, NM in 1954, with her husband, Lloyd. She worked at Piggly Wiggly and Safeway stores as a cashier. She suffered the last years of her life, but is now at peace. Gwen is preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Doris Torske; her husband of 40 years, Lloyd Paulson; and her son, Gregg. She is survived by her daughters, Vicki Heinlein and husband, Steve, and Nancy G. Martinez; son, David L. Paulson and wife, Debbie; five sisters; five brothers; 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and many friends. She was loved by all and will be deeply missed. Gwen was an inspiration to all lives she touched. A Memorial Service will be held Monday, May 19, 2003, at 11:00 a.m. at McGee Memorial Chapel with burial following as Santa Fe National Cemetery.
