Pauline B. Leopold was born on August 13, 2003 in Beaty, Arkansas. She moved toAlbuquerque in 1935 where she was a well-known seamstress with an unlimited knowledge of fabrics and women's fashions. She worked at Globe/Taylor, Townhouse and Carlynns. Pauline was preceded in death by her only child, Margaret Lou Wetzel. She was also preceded in death in 1999 by her husband, John Leopold who was a manager with Continental Airlines and a prominent Mason. Pauline's only survivors are one niece, Una Mae Bar and husband, Robert; and one nephew, Eddie Roark of Tulsa, OK; and dear friends, Emma Lemmons and Mary Jane Major. Pauline was a lifelong member of the Democratic Party and First Presbyterian Church. Services will be held Saturday, May 17, 2003, at 2:00 p.m., at Chester T. French Memorial Mausoleum Chapel, 924 Menual NE, with Rev. Myron White officiating. She will be placed in the family crypt between her daughter Margaret Lou Wetzel and husband John Leopold.
