Violet L. Sanchez, 83, of Cheyenne, WY died May 9, 2003 at Saint Anthony's Hospital in Denver, CO. She was born October 21, 1919 in Washington, D.C. She lived in Albuquerque for 50 years and had lived her since 1992. She enjoyed her family and was especially proud of her grandchildren. Mrs. Sanchez is survived by a daughter, Eileen Smith, and her husband, Robert Smith of Cheyenne and Denver; son, Phil Sanchez and his wife, Ann Sanchez of Albin, WY; brother, James Lurba of Fairfax, VA; and five grandchildren, Kirsi and Maurisa Jensen, Alex Smith, Heather and Justin Sanchez. Her husband, Maurice Sanchez; and her parents, Bernard and Raimunda Lurba preceded her in death. Cremation has taken place in Denver. A Private Service will be held in Albuquerque.
