James (Jim) A. Jensen, Sunrise - March 7, 1941 Sunset - May 26, 2003 James Jensen of Albuquerque, passed away May 26, 2003. Jim was born March 7, 1941 to Arthur and Marjorie Jensen. He was married to Sandra M. Jensen who passed away September 8, 1999. Jim is survived by son, Jay Jensen of Albuquerque; daughter, Kelly and husband, Bobby Fekishazy and granddaughter, Megan of Houston, TX; son, Eric Jensen and wife, Brandi Jensen and granddaughter, Tiana of Deer Park, TX and grandson, Matthew Jensen of San Diego, CA; sister, Joan Sheppard of Alaska; several nieces, nephews and family friends. Jim served in the Air Force for two years. Jim worked as a commercial artist in 1964. He worked many years in the tire business and finished his career in real estate. Jim had a heart transplant March 6, 1989. The last 14 years he spent his time with family and friends. Jim will be missed. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, May 31, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. at Strong-Thorne Mortuary 1100 Coal Ave. SE in the Palm Chapel.
