Obituary for Loredo

Jose R. Loredo, 73, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, died Friday, May 30, 2003. He is survived by his sons, Joey R. Loredo, II of Colorado and Roy Loredo of Germany; step-son, Jerry Davila of Texas; daughter, Irma Ann Hertzing of Colorado; sisters, Maria Galvan and Damiana Franco of Texas; grandchildren, Regina Loredo, Jose R. Loredo, III, Estevan Loredo, Gary McClure and Chris Easton, all of Colorado, Jean Loredo, Paul A. Loredo, Michael Loredo and Rachel Loredo, all of Arizona; and numerous great-grandchildren. Mr. Loredo was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 50 years, Mary. He was a member of Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. He served in the US Air Force 28 years before retiring in 1975. He then worked at Ed Black's for six years, G.T.E. for 8 years, and also for French Mortuary. Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, 10:00 a.m., at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 5310 Claremont NE, with Father Johnny Lee Chavez, Celebrant and Deacon Ruben Barela assisting. Nichside services will be held Thursday, 3:00 p.m., at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE. Friends may visit French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, Tuesday, 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. French Mortuary 1111 University Blvd. NE 843-6333
