Mrs. Esther Gomez died Monday, June 16, 2003 in Albuquerque at the age of 68. Mrs. Gomez is preceded in death by her husband, Bacilio Gomez, and by her parents, Antonio and Louisa Pino. She is survived by four daughters, Rosemary Chavez and husband, Ernie, Gloria Padilla and husband, Ernie, Carmella Duran and husband, David, and Sally Jo Doyle and husband, Cole; brothers, Paul Pino and wife, Esther, Louis Pino and wife, Mary Ellen, Sam Pino and Jim Pino; sisters, Josephine Biggs, Beulah Aragon and husband, Robert, and Grace Aragon and husband, Roy; and 13 grandchildren. Funeral Services for Mrs. Gomez will be held on Thursday at Ascension Catholic Church where the Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Burial will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. Pallbearers will be David Llamas, Phillip Duran, Anthony Duran, Isaac Doyle, Paul Giles and Craig Slaughterbeck. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Pino, Gabriel Santillan and Steven Llamas. A Rosary will be recited on Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m. with visitation beginning at 6:30 p.m. at Ascension Church.
