Emilio Morales Jr., age 98, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, June 20, 2003. He was preceded in death by his first wife Rosa, second wife Bessie, grandson Richard Griego Jr., son in law John R. Garcia, two brothers Isreal Morales Sr. and Concho Morales of Texas. He is survived by one daughter Ylia Garcia of Albuquerque; two sons Henry Morales and wife Hortencia of Tempe, AZ and Richard Griego Sr. and wife Alice of Albuquerque; one sister Bertha Morales; one brother Rodolfo Morales all of Albuquerque; nine grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; seven great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Morales was a retired employee of the City of Albuquerque and an avid fisherman. He will be greatly missed by his loving family. An Evening Prayer service for Mr. Morales will be held on Monday time and place to be announced. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday time and place to be announced. Burial will follow at the Sunset Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Russell Griego, Joel Hill, Christopher Chavez, Eddie Robles, Jarret Chandler and Matthew Chavez. Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Garcia and Patrick Chavez. Funeral services are in the care of: Garcia Mortuary 717 Stover Ave. SW 243-5222
