Suzanne Zimmerman nee Keenan, formerly of Wayland, New York, died June 20, 2003, after a long battle with cancer. Her oldest daughter, Susan Alice Kretsch nee Zimmerman preceded her in death. Suzanne is survived by her husband, Harold Jacob Zimmerman, of 47 years; three daughters, Stephanie J. LeMay, Rebekah K. Alexander-Adams and Jay Adams, Frances F. Zimmerman and Kay Schreck; sons-in-law, Willard Kretsch, James LeMay, and Russell Alexander. Suzanne is also survived by three grandsons; four granddaughters; two great-granddaughters; sister, Alice Young; brother, David Keenan; and numerous cousins, nephews, nieces; and many dear friends. Suzanne was known for her generous heart. She opened her house and arms to those in need of shelter and food, humans and animals alike. She will be remembered not only for her generosity, but also for her companionship, her excellent cooking, and artistic abilities. A Memorial Service will be held at 1403 Avenida Cristo Rey NW, Albuquerque, NM 87107, Saturday, June 28, 2003 at 1:00 p.m., with a traditional Irish Wake to follow."Just whisper my name and I will be there."
