Jacob O. Matteson, age 88, beloved husband, father, and grandfather was welcomed into the arms of the Lord our Savior, Friday, June 20, 2003. Visitations will be held on Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Alameda Mortuary; where a Rosary will recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Pallbearers will be George Pearce, Mike Prudhomme, David Klausen, Lloyd Olden, Patrick Southard and Jim Southard.
