Jean Rose Spraggins, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, passed away on 24 June 2003. She was born in Rannoch, Scotland and was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her children, Sandi and husband, Tom Pratt, and Chris; sister, Mary and husband, Stanley Davidson; brother, Robert Cameron and wife, Vi, and their families. Known as Rosa to her friends and family, she had an interesting and varied career working as a bus conductress, court reporter, embassy employee and retiring as a vocational assessment aide for the Albuquerque Public Schools. She was independent and outspoken, enjoying travel, dancing and swimming. Mass will be celebrated Friday at 9:00 a.m. at Holy Ghost Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Maryknoll Missions, PO Box 302, Maryknoll, NY 10545-0302.
