Ray A. Whaley passed away June 25, 2003 in Albuquerque. He was born on September 12, 1928 in Lake County, SD to Warren and Mae Whaley. Ray served his country for approximately ten years in the U.S. Army and U.S. Air Force with one year in Korea. He was preceded in death by his parents, Warren and Mae Whaley; one brother, Ralph Whaley; and one sister, Sharren (Whaley) Holt. He is survived by his sister, Judine (Whaley) Drayer of Albuquerque; and eight nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at French Mortuary (7121 Wyoming Blvd., NE) at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, June 30, 2003. Interment will be in the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:00 p.m.
