Obituary for Peterson

Eleanor A. Peterson, 85, a longtime resident of Albuquerque died peacefully near family on Friday, June 27, 2003. Mrs. Peterson (nee Hoffman) was born November 18, 1917 in Omaha, NB. She moved to California, where she met her husband and worked ntil the birth of their first child, later moving with their three children to Albuquerque, where she loved for over 30 years. She moved to Fort Worth in March to live with her daughter and son-in-law. Eleanor was a lifelong, devout Catholic and a wise and loving daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother. Her parents, John and Josephine Hoffman and her husband, Marlow N. Peterson, preceded her in death. Donating her body to UNT Health Science Center in Fort Worth, where her daughter is a student, continues her lifelong generosity. Survivors include daughter, Stephanie Bryan and husband, Thomas of Ft. worth, TX; son, Martin and wife, Joni with grandsons, Christopher and Kyle Peterson and Eric Peacock, all of California; son, James of Tennessee; sister, Carolyn Fischer of California; several nieces, one nephew, many cousins and her cat, Mitzi. Memorial Service will be Monday, June 30, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Ft. Worth, TX. In lieu of flowers, donate to your favorite charity.
