Vilma Wherland, 88, a resident of Albuquerque since 1995, died Saturday, June, 28, 2003. She is survived by her daughter, Beverly Stevenson and husband, Fred of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Scott Stevenson of Seattle, Washington, Eric Stevenson of Oakland, California; and Victoria Pickrel of Phoenix, Arizona. Vilma worked at Colombia Pictures in Hollywood for 40 years before retiring in 1977. She loved to paint and read in her retirement. Anyone who knew Vilma was a better person for knowing her.
