Obituary for Walstrom

Charles R. Walstrom, known to his family and friends as"Bob" died on June 29, 2003. He was born April 29, 1926 in Burlington, Iowa and has been a longtime resident of Albuquerque. He was preceded in death by a son, John. Bob is survived by daughter, Stephanie Williams and husband, Tony of Los Lunas, Chuck Walstrom and wife, Cheryl of Rio Rancho, Tom Walstrom and wife, Suzanne of Albuquerque; one brother, John Walstrom and wife, Donna of Dallas City, IL; three sisters, Donna Dombrosky of Polson, MT, Judy Klinetobe and husband, Lonnie of Quitman, TX and Vicki Blaufuss and husband, Craig of Fenton, MO; 11 grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter. He served briefly in the Navy after World War II. Bob was a retired engineer who lent his talent and services to enterprises around the globe. One of his favorite hobbies was woodworking for which he was well known. He will be missed by his family and friends. At Bob's request, his body has been cremated and his remains will be returned to the earth by his family in a private ceremony.
