Marleen Rae Romero, a resident of Rio Rancho, passed away suddenly on June 29, 2003. Marleen was born on February 23, 1957 in Denver, CO to Charles and Helen Fields Baker. She was a very loving and devoted wife and mother and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Marleen was preceded in death by her mother, Helen. She is survived by her beloved husband, Johnnie Romero of Rio Rancho; loving son, Chance Eon Romero of Albuquerque; precious daughters, Chandora Ann and Vanessa Rae Romero, both of Rio Rancho; her sisters, Mary Wilkins of Albuquerque, and Rose Marie Reeves of OK; and brother, Michael John Baker. A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2, 2003 from 6:00 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the Chapel of Sunrise Funeral Options, 2400 Southern Blvd. in Rio Rancho, with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2003 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Rio Rancho with Father Michael DePalma as Celebrant.
