Obituary for Good

Doris Jean (Miller) Good passed away on Friday, June 27, 2003 after a lengthy illness from cancer. She was 33 years, 6 months, and 21 days. She was born in Hanover, PA on December 6, 1969, the daughter of Glenn and Anna Lois (Geigley) Miller. She married Joseph D. Good on January 1, 1994. She was preceded in death by one sister, Jeanette Kaye; and by two grandfathers, Charles Miller and Roy Geigley. She is survived by her husband; one son, Brandon, age seven; two daughters, Karen, age four and Brenda, age three; three brothers, Dale and wife, Ada Mae Weaver of Colby, WI, Robert of Farmington, NM and Edwin of Belen, NM; two sisters, Faye and husband, Paul Troyer of Grandin, MO and Janice and husband, Wesley Byler of Los Lunas, NM; two grandmothers, Dorothy Miller and Gladys Geigley; nine nephews; and seven nieces. She was a member of the Belen Mennonite Church, Belen, NM. Her glowing testimony of a deep trust in the Lord by her inner peace and resignation to the circumstance of her sickness have touched many lives. She will be greatly missed by all. The Visitation was held at the Grandin Mennonite Church Monday evening. The Funeral Service was held at First Baptist Church in Doniphan, MO, Tuesday afternoon. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Grandin Mennonite Church to help meet the expenses of Doris's lengthy illness.
