Tomas A. Romero, 78, passed away on July 3, 2003. He was born on August 12, 1924 in Roy, New Mexico. Mr. Romero was a 20 year retiree as a Corporal-Sergeant with the Airforce, a 17 year retiree from the U.S. Department of Agriculture, a Normandy Invasion Survivor, W.W.II Veteran of the Korean Conflict, Cold War Veteran and a recipient of several military awards which include five combat stripes, European-African Middle Eastern Victory Medal, Overseas Ribbon and a Good Conduct Medal. Mr. Romero will be deeply missed by his loving family. A rosary will be recited on Sunday evening at 7:00 p.m. at the Holy Family Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday morning at 10:00 a.m. also at the HolyFamily Catholic Church Service are in the care of : Garcia Mortuary 717 Stover Ave. S.W. 243-5222
