Charles L. Myers, Major, U.S. Army, (Ret.), 88, a resident of Albuquerque since 1959, died Tuesday, July 8, 2003. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Irene Myers of Albuquerque; son, Charles L. Myers, Jr. and wife, Marie of Albuquerque; daughters, Irene M. Kossuth and husband, Joseph of Irving, TX and Marlene E. Dupont of Los Angeles, CA; granddaughters, Melodie Dupont of San Francisco, CA and Anna Kossuth of Irving, TX; grandson, Robert S. Hicks of Irving, TX; great-grandson, Forrest Hicks of Mesquite, TX; great-granddaughters, Haley M. Hicks of Mesquite, TX and Olivia Hicks of Irving, TX. Mr. Myers was a member of Masonic Mesa Lodge #68, life member of the Shriners, member of Retired Officers Assoc., and life member of the NRA. Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held Thursday, July 10, 2003, 10:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, with Rev. Tom Hart and Masonic Mesa Lodge #68 officiating. Interment of cremated remains will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be Charles L. Myers, Jr., Joseph Kossuth, and Robert S. Hicks. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Animal Humane Association of NM Inc. 615 French Mortuary 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE 275-3500
