| Vences G. Chavez died Monday, July 14, 2003 in Albuquerque at the age of 81. Mr. Chavez is survived by his wife, Tina Chavez; son, Richard Chavez; daughters, Gloria Encinias and husband, Dan, Ann Asmus and husband, Phil, and Lupe Chavez; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
