John F. Thomas, 65, a resident of Albuquerque since 1964, died Wednesday, July 16, 2003. He is survived by his wife, Fay Thomas of the family home; daughters, Linda Smith and husband, Norman, Cynthia Miller and husband, Michael and Deborah Weidner and husband, Jeremy; son, John W. Thomas, all of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Emery and Teaghan Smith and Rebecca and Valerie Miller; brothers, George Thomas and wife, Martha of Gallup, Robert Thomas and wife, Pam of California and David Thomas and wife, Cheryl of Oregon; mother, Maida Lee Thomas of Albuquerque; sister-in-law, Beverly Thomas of Albuquerque; nephews, Darrell and Michael Thomas; and many other family members and friends. Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held Tuesday, 10:00 a.m., at Grace Baptist Church, 12201 Comanche Rd. NE, with Rev. Curtis Brown officiating.
