Obituary for Hale

Elvin Elbert Hale. Born May 9, 1919- Died July 23, 2003. Parents John Alexander and Buna Queen (Railsback) Hale. Mr. Hale is preceded in death by his wife of 51 years Lois, his parents and his brothers Claude, Denfer, and Floyd. He is survived by his children, Carol, Jimmy, Dwayne and wife Darlene, Tommy and wife Ann, Patricia and Clayton. Grandchildren Matthew, Daniel, Sara, and Samuel Hale. Elvin was born in Lorraine, Texas and lived there until after WWll when he and several member so his family moved to Mesquite NM. He and Lois moved to Socorro in 1953 where they farmed until his health caused him to retire. He is probably best remembered by all his purchases at the local Flea Markets. Mr. Hale was a very generous caring man and we will all miss him. Services will be held at First Baptist Church at 10:00 am Saturday July 26, 2003. Mr. Hale will be laid to rest in El Morro New Mexico at 5:00 pm the same day. All arrangements are being handled at French's Mortuary.
