Leo Davis aged 77, born May 9, 1926, passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2003. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy M. Davis of Albuquerque; and two sons, Gary Stephen Davis of Albuquerque, and Paul Scott Davis of Atlanta, Georgia. He is also survived by his sister, Walterine Carson of Garber, Oklahoma. Leo was proud of his involvement in the Naval Research Laboratory in Washington D.C. from 1949 to 1960. He then joined NASA, at the Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland, where he worked as an Upper Atmosphere Research Physicist. There will be a Memorial Service on Saturday, July 26, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. at the First Unitarian Church, 3701 Carlisle Blvd, NE.
