Cody William Owen, 12, a resident of Los Lunas, passed on to our heavenly father Saturday, July 26, 2003. He is survived by his loving parents, Bill Owen and wife, Judy of Albuquerque and mother, Janette D. Owen of Los Lunas; sisters, Brandi Owen of Los Lunas and Michelle Jellison of Germany; grandparents, William and Verda Owen and Leroy and Maxine Schneider; aunts and uncles, Kathy and Larry Hau, Jim and Cindy Schneider, Gary and Kim Schneider, and Sandi and Tim Devine; three nephews and one niece; and many friends from Los Lunas. Cody loved baseball and played first base. He also loved basketball, loved riding horses and swimming. Cody attended R.G.I. in Los Lunas and was going to be starting Los Lunas Middle School in the fall. He loved his family and enjoyed being with them. He was the UNO Champ among his family. He had a smile and a heart of gold that would brighten the world. Rosary will be recited Wednesday, 7:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel. Services will be held Thursday, 10:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel. Friends may visit French Mortuary, Wednesday 5:00 p.m. to time of Rosary.
