Mildred M. Kirkland, 85, when to be with her Lord on Wednesday, July 9, 2003. She is survived by her son-in-law, A. D. Garris; four grandchildren, Daryle B. Garris, Roxanne Salsman, Arthur Vance Garris and Kirk Allen Garris; and two great -grandchildren. She also had three step- great- grandchildren; and one step- great- great- grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, F. E. Kirkland and her only daughter, Rhenea J. Garris. Graveside services will be held Thursday, July 17, 2003, 10:30 a.m. at Sandia Memory Gardens, 9500 San Pedro Dr. NE.
