Arthuro Lucero, age 77, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, passed away on the morning of Wednesday, August 13, 2003. He was born on May 3, 1926 in Sepallo, NM. Arthur was one of four brothers of Feliberto Lucero and Julia A. Segura. Arthur was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Gallegos Lucero and daughter, Patricia Lucero. He is survived by his children, Fred A. Lucero and Catherine Lucero of Albuquerque, Theresa Lucente of Oakton, VA; grandchildren, Michael and Nichole Lucero, Aaron Jorgenson of Albuquerque, Steven and Alicia Booth of Los Lunas, and Patricia Lucente of Fairmont, WV; son-in-law, Bruce Jorgenson of Albuquerque; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to being a loving father and grandfather, Arthur retired from Kirtland Air Force Base. He also enjoyed employment at Kenny and Paris Shoe Stores. He was a WWII disabled Veteran. Arthur was a longtime member and usher at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. A Rosary will be recited 7:00 p.m., Thursday, August 14, 2003 at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church 5311 Phoenix NE. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00 a.m., Friday, August 15, 2003 also at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Serving as Pallbearers will be Michael and Nichole Lucero, Steven and Alicia Booth, Bruce and Aaron Jorgenson. Honorary pallbearers will be Patricia Lucente and Jacob Gonzales.
