Roger Gabaldon Jr., 84, passed away on Sunday, August 24, 2003 at his home in Socorro, NM. He was born September 16, 1918 to Rogerio and Emena (Olguin) Gabaldon Sr. in La Mesa, NM. He is preceded in death by his parents; and a son, Stephen Gabaldon. He is survived by his wife, Jessie (Harada) Gabaldon of their home in Socorro; sons, Roger and wife, Teresa of San Antonio, NM and Dennis and wife, Brenda of Albuquerque; daughters, Priscilla Gabaldon and Sandra Gabaldon both of Albuquerque; 15 grandchildren. A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 26, 2003 at Steadman-Hall Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, August 26, 2003 at 7:00 p.m. at San Miguel Catholic Church in Socorro. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 27, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. at San Miguel with Father John C. Daniel as Celebrant. Interment will be in the San Antonio, NM Cemetery. Pallbearers are Steve Gabaldon, John Chavez, Austin Gabaldon, Justin Dressel, Peter Del Curto and Jude Gabaldon. Arrangements under the direction of Steadman-Hall Funeral Home, 309 Garfield, Socorro, NM.
