Obituary for Maupin

James William"Will" Maupin, passed away on August 22, 2003 after a long illness. Will was born on July 10, 1960 in Albuquerque, NM. He had two great loves in his life, his wife and his children. He was an avid gardener and enjoyed working in his garden and his passion was his flowers. Will enjoyed cooking and taking pleasure in pleasing others with his culinary delights. His Saturday's were spent watching all of the cooking shows on t.v. Will also loved the outdoors, often taking trips into the mountains with his family to enjoy the tranquility of the canyons. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Will is survived by his loving wife, Rene; his precious children, Derrick and Kara Siemsen; his beloved parents, Ann and Gerald Hyatt of Albuquerque; sisters, Jennifer and husband Richard Collins of Phoenix, AZ, and Johanna and husband Brian Thompson of Albuquerque; grandmother, Allamay Hyatt of Albuquerque; his in-laws Les and Ellie Williams of Denver, CO; and numerous loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and a host of very special friends. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 27, 2003 at 9:00 a.m. at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 11401 Indian School Rd. NE.
