Obituary for Fratzola

Amy Marcella Fratzola, age 86, of Pecos, NM, passed away at home on Wednesday, August 20, 2003, following a brief illness. She was preceded in death by her brother, Pat Valverde, Jr. and sister, Doris Medina. Amy was born in Trementina, NM to Patricio and Amy Valverde. She married Anthony Fratzola in Las Vegas, NM on June 5, 1943. Amy was a graduate of Allison James High School and later attended Highlands University. Mrs. Fratzola was employed as a teacher with Mora County school system, Social Services for San Miguel County, a secretary for U.S. Engineers, and the Albuquerque Police and Fire Department, and a homemaker. She was also an active member of the Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her husband, Anthony Fratzola; son, Anthony Fratzola and wife Ann; daughters: Gay Rodriguez and husband Tony and Elizabeth Hardman and husband Ed; grandchildren: Allison Cone, Jennifer Pruett, Sarah Cone, Lisa Cone, Ricky DuBois, Becky Chavez, Paul DuBois, George Fratzola, Denise Garcia and 16 great-grandchildren. Serving as pallbearers will be Rick DuBois, Paul DuBois, George Fratzola, Jimmy Fratzola, Paul Pruett and Jeffery Pruett. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, August 25, 2003, 12:00 noon at Berardinelli Family Chapel. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Berardinelli Family Funeral Service, 1399 Luisa Street, 984-8600.
