Mrs. Rosana Phelps, 78, a resident of Seboyeta, NM for the past 17 years, and former resident of Albuquerque, passed away on August 18, 2003. Mrs. Phelps is survived by a grandson, Chris Bingham and wife, Mary; three sisters, Bonnie Davis, Lupe Garcia and husband, Abel, Esther Torres and husband, Dickie; 24 nieces and nephews; numerous great nieces and grand nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Phelps, her parents, Juan and Acelina Valdez, four brothers, Rosendo, John, Leo and Gabriel; four sisters, Cecilia, Maclovia, Donaciana and Josephine. Mrs. Phelps was a member of the Catholic Church. Visitation will be Wednesday evening from 6:00pm until 7:00pm in the Gabaldon Memorial Chapel, 1000 Old Coors Dr. SW with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00pm by Mrs. Eileen Montoya. Final visitation will be Thursday morning from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco SW, presiders of the Mass will be a Franciscan Priest. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Timothy Davis, Joseph Davis, Ross Davis, Matthew Davis, Leonard Marquez and Michael Marquez.
