Obituary for Jaramillo

Lupita V. Jaramillo, 89, a resident of El Cerro, New Mexico passed away on Sunday, August 10, 2003. She was a member of Sangre de Cristo Catholic Church in Valencia, NM, Legion of Mary, and Our Lady of Guadalupe Sewing Committee. Lupita enjoyed sewing for her family, her beloved church, and the Altar Society. For many years, she assisted her husband in the operation of a dairy farm. She is preceded in death by her husband, Max Jaramillo in 1976; sisters, Dulemia Aragon; and Rosina Vigil; brothers, Estanislado Vigil; and Joseph Vigil; and granddaughter, Braylene J. Jaramillo. Lupita is survived by her children, Lillian Otero and her husband Lorenzo of Albuquerque, NM; Sylvia Jaramillo Moya; Eugene Jaramillo, both of El Cerro; Vivian Jaramillo and his wife, Judy of Mesa, AZ; Benny Jaramillo and his wife, Bernadette of El Cerro; Fred Jaramillo and his wife, Alma of El Cerro; sixteen grandchildren, Loren and Lynn Otero; Yvonne, Brian, Danielle, and Dion Jaramillo; Michele Ashley and her husband, Levi; Brandy Ortiz and her husband, Patrick; Brandon Jaramillo and his wife, Jackie; Breanna Fisher and her husband, Justin; Neil Jaramillo and his wife, Nadia; Joel Jaramillo and his wife, Cristina; Mara Jaramillo; and Max, Irene, and Paul Moya; eight great-grandchildren, Bryce and Cora Jaramillo; Levi and Anderson Ashley; Joshua and Isaac Ortiz; and Austin and Kylee Jaramillo. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, Godchildren, and caretakers. All services will be held at Sangre de Cristo Catholic Church. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, August 12, 2003 at 6:30 p.m. and will follow with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, August 13, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. with interment following at the Valencia Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Loren Otero, Brian, Brandon, Neil, Joel, and Dion Jaramillo, and Max and Paul Moya. Romero Funeral Home, 609 N. Main St., Belen, N.M. 87002.
