Col. Belvin S. Freeman US Army, (Ret.) a resident of Albuquerque, died Thursday, August 7, 2003. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Peggy J. Freeman of Albuquerque; sons, Belvin S. Freeman II of Fayston, VT, Michael Allan Freeman and wife, Karen of Gillette, NJ; and grandchildren, Kathryn Rose and Leah June. Belvin served his country in the US Army and retired after nearly 30 years. He was an active member of the Military Officers Association. Services will be held Tuesday, August 12, 2003, 10:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe, NM. Friends may visit French Mortuary, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, Monday, August 11, 2003, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
