Obituary for Dralle

Robert Burns Dralle, 82, a resident of Albuquerque for 30 years, died Thursday, July 31, 2003. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Marjorie, of Albuquerque; daughter Nancy and husband, Merle Elson of Ridgecrest, CA; son Kevin and wife, Johanna Dralle of Corrales; grandchildren, Troy Finton of Cincinnati, OH, and Caitlin and Ryan Dralle of Corrales; sister, Peggy Irene Carlson of Bismarck, ND; brother-in-law, Wallace and wife, Eleanor Bailey of Leadville, CO and many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, two sisters, and two brothers-in-law. Mr. Dralle was born to Marshall and Florence Dralle on November 24, 1920, in Brittin, North Dakota, He was a WWII veteran in the U.S. Army and a POW in Germany. His military career spanned 20 years, he retired as a Major at Ft. Bliss, Texas, in 1961. Bob Dralle spent many years in automobile, truck and RV sales in El Paso and Albuquerque. He was an avid fisherman and gardener. He traveled extensively with his wife, family and friends and will be missed by many dear friends, and his dog, Beau. Memorial Services will be held Wednesday, August 6, 2003 at 10:30 a.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe, NM.
